Enjoy the Ride layout
I made this layout for my husband for Father's Day 2011. Not much Cricut. I used Basic Grey paper from the "Oh Baby! Boy Collection Pack."
I used this Cricut cartridge:
Graphically Speaking for the circle title
I used the Design Studio to make the base circle a 4 inch circle and also made the phrase layer into a 3.75 inch circle
I stickled the phrase, added ribbon, added a small metal tag, doodled around the entire layout and included some handewritten info about my daughters. This was the 1st time I had doodled or hand wrote anything on a project. I think it turned out pretty good for the 1st time.
Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed it.
Here are some other photos of the layout and the card together.

Have a Berry Sweet Birthday card
It has been a while since I actually had the opportunity to make anything, so here it is.
I made this easel card for my Mom, who's birthday is this week and she loves strawberries...in fact she bought me this cart so I thought it would be fitting that I use it to make her birthday card!
I used these Cricut cartridges:
Simply Charmed for the strawberry bowl cut at 3 1/2 and the berry sweet cut at 1
Calligraphy Collection for the Birthday cut at 2
I used D'vine Swirls and Swiss Dots embossing folders.
I added ribbon from Michael's and a couple of brads.
The card is a 5 1/2 inch square card.
Simple and Sweet, I hope she likes it!

We Walk 4Them
On Mother's Day me and my family participated in an event for the The MISS Foundation It is an organization that supports families when a child dies. The event was called Empty Strollers, Empty Shoes: We Walk for Them. We walked for our nephew Chad who was taken from us when he was only 4 months old in 1993 and his death was attributed to SIDS. We also walked for our babies Aiden and Kiran. My son Aiden was stillborn at 29 weeks and 6 days gestation due a complete placental abruption and Kiran was misscarried at 8 weeks and 6 days, both in 2005. I don't know what I would've done without The MISS Foundation. Their support, especially in those early months during our grief, was essential for our healing. Not a day goes by that we don't think about and MISS our babies. Participating in this event is our way of never letting their memory die!
I used these Cricut cartridges:
Indie Art for the wings that I welded in the Design Studio to the names
Calligraphy Collection for the names
Graphically Speaking for the stoller
New Arrival for the feet
Plantin SchoolBook for the title
I don't know the sizes for any it because I did everything in the Design Studio.

Teacher Appreciation Basket
I made this basket for my daughter's 3rd grade teacher for Teacher Appreciation Day.
I got the basket from Michael's for only $3.50, added some ribbon I already had, placed some craft foam in the bottom, covered it with some leftover Easter grass, put in some Granny Smith and Pink Lady apples, and last made the sticks.
I used these Cricut cartridges:
George and Basic Shapes for the star cut @ 3
Cricut Sampler for the Thanks cut @ 3
A Child's Year for the 2 apples cut @ 3
Doodlecharms for the watermelon cut @ 3
Locker Talk for the A+ cut @ 1 3/4
Graphically Speaking for the chalkboard cut @ 3 1/2
Celebrations for the banner cut @ 4
Wild Card for the #1 Teacher cut @ 6
Alphalicious for the You're the Best cut @ 2
Too many carts I know but I think the end product turned out pretty good. I learned from doing this project that in the future to use less carts. Using this many carts was very time consuming!

Teacher Appreciation card
I created this easel card for my daughter's 3rd grade teacher for Teacher Appreciation Day. It's a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 easel card (my 1st attempt at this kind of card).
I used these cartridges:
Graphically Speaking for the blackboard with the alphabet frame cut @ 3 3/4, I also used some sandpaper to give the black cardstock the look of a blackboard
Locker Talk for the A+ cut @ 1 3/4, I also used Martha Stewart glitter
I also applied some stickles to the dots on the pattern paper and attached some brads and ribbon

On the inside of the card I used this cartridge:
Jasmine for the Many Thanks phrase (I'm sorry but I can't remember what size I cut it at)

All Star - Shine On
I created this card for my 9 year old daughter. Her school has requested that the parents send in a "surprise" note this week to be given to their child next week before taking the AIMS tests for encouragement. I wrote a little note in the inside. I've been having to do a little here and there all week to get this done without my daughter seeing it...I hope she likes it and it gives her that little extra encouragement to get her through the tests next week!
I used these Cricut cartridges:
Wild Card for the star card and I made the coordinating envelop both cut at 5 1/2, embossed the pink star and used glitter glue to add a little shimmer
Sports Mania for the All Star cut at 1 1/4 and the shadow
Hannah Montana for the Shine On in the inside of the card which I created in Design Studio, welded and slanted it slightly and then I added Martha Stewart glitter (tourmaline)
Here's a couple more images:

Zebra Purse card
I finally figured out my Cricut Design Studio and went WILD!!! I made this card for my niece who is turning 17 today! I made all of my cuts in the DS. I will be putting a gift card in it as her gift!
I used these Cricut cartridges:
Wild Card for purse cut twice (zebra print and black) at 6 1/4, welded and stretched to fit. I used the black parts for the handles, the inside of purse, and flap
Locker Talk for the key cut at 2 and the MP3 player
Designer Calendar for the cellphone
Paper Doll Dress Up for the lipstick cut at 2
George and Basic Shapes for the nail polish which I took 2 shapes and welded them together to create the shape
This was by far my funnest project and I finished in a day(of course with Mom duty in the middle).
I want to give a special thanks to Michelle Petersen (on the cricut.com mb) for the inspiration!
Here's a look at the inside of the purse and a little message.

Chihuahua Valentine
I made this Valentine for my 8 year old daughter. She has a 2 year old chihuahua that is her best buddy. So when I saw this chihuahua on Four Legged Friend, I knew this was perfect for her.
I made it with:
Cricut Cartridge Beyond Birthdays for the card base cut at 5 1/4
Cricut Lite Cartridge Four Legged Friends for the chihuahua cut at 4 1/2
I embellished with 4 heart shaped brads and some Christmas red Stickles.
I hope you enjoy! It was fun and easy!
