Sympathy card with Dove

My amazing father-in-law passed away yesterday and I made these sympathy cards to give to my husband's family. I only used Inspired Heart Cricut cartridge, Design Studio, the Cuttlebug and the computer to make these cards.

I designed the card base is Design Studio by using the welding feature.  All of the outer pieces were cut at 3 1/2.  I ran the cards through the Cuttlebug using D'vine Swirls embossing folder.  I applied iridescent glitter to only the dove.

Here is the inside:

I found this amazing poem at Frans Candles.  I printed it on cardstock that has a cloud-like look to it.  I then just cut the base over again but at 3 1/4 and cut off the the part for the doves wing.  I inked the edges and adhered to the inside.  Tho top part of the inside of the card is just a stamp I found at Michael's in the Dollar bin.
Thank you for looking.

Best Day Ever card

I created this 5 1/2 in. square easel card for a co-worker of mine who loves Spongebob!  I am entering this card in the Birthday Sundaes #18 Anything Goes Birthday Card Challenge.

I made the base card from orange cardstock.  I ran the blue cardstock through my Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls embossing folder.  I then Stickled over the swirls with Baby Blue Stickles.  I had some cardstock that had a sand look to it that I cut and tore, then inked and layered.  I also used the same paper for the Happy Birthday, which I used the negative cut and layered over a slightly darked colored cardstock.  I also inked and traced the letters to give it a written in the sand look.
All of the cuts were made from the Spongebob Squarepants Cricut cartridge, except the Happy Birthday which I used the Design Studio to create and cut from Caligraphy Collection Cricut cartirdge.

Best Day Ever sign cut at 1 3/4, layered and punched an eyelet through to create the hole to thread floss through to make it look like Spongebob is holding a sign or banner.

Flowers cut at 3/4, layered and attached with a brad

Starfish cut at 3/4 and adhered Martha Stewart glitter

Greenery cut at 4 and inked

Spongebob cut at 3, I couldn't use all of the cut pieces because they were just too small so I ended up using colored pens to fill in those areas *** If you are going to attempt a Spongebob like this make it bigger!

I used square foams to pop up Spongebob and the sign.

Here are some additonal images of the card.  Thanks for checking out my latest creation and please stop by again!
