Entered in Cooking with Cricut Anything Goes ChallengeI made this layout for a friend of mine and her little girl, named Lily, who is turning 1 this month and this is my gift to my friend and the dress (that inspired the layout below) is for her little girl. I used many Cricut cartridges on this project and they are as follows:
Accent Essentials
- flower (accent 32)cut at 1 3/4
- circle (accent 12)cut at 1 1/4
- I inked the flower with LePlume II pink
- outlined the flower with cotton candy Stickles
Calligraphy Collection
- name cut at 3/4
- glittered with Martha Stewart onyx glitter
Doodlecharms - leaves (from the stick and leaves) cut at 4
- inked leaves with LePlume II light green
Paper Doll Dress Up
- fence I welded 2 fences togehter in Design Studio at 1 1/4 and trimmed to fit page
- I inked the fence with LePlume II grey
- outlined the fence with frosted lace Stickles
ZooBalloo
- clouds cut at 2
- outlined the clouds with white iridesant Studio g glitter glue
Graphically Speaking
- sun (the great outdoors) icon blackout cut at 4
- circle of the sun (got kids?) shift icon blackout cut at 1 3/4
- applied yellow Studio g glitter glue to sun and circle
I used pattern paper from DCWV Spring Stack, DCWV Nana's Kids, and DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies. I used foam squares to raise most of the elements, adhered some ribbon, lady bugs and some misc. embellishments. See below for more pics, thanks for visiting!
