Hello

Tonight I'm getting this done last minute. I spent a lot of time researching for this card. I knew that I wanted to include a flower and a butterfly. I knew the colors I wanted to use. Then I found this perfect little hello with a butterfly on Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge. Now I just needed to find the perfect flower and I found it on Kate's ABCs Cricut cartridge. I then did some sketching because I was unsure as to how I wanted to place everything. This is what I came up with.

I used these items to create my Hello card:
  • Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge - Hello
  • Kate's ABCs Cricut cartridge - flower
  • Martha Stewart corner punch
  • Jute packaging twine
  • white gel pen - added to the butterfly
  • Foam mounts - behind flower

Let the Good Times Roll Pop-Up Box card

Today my oldest daughter was invited to a friend's 13th birthday party which was a bowling party, so I of course had to make a bowling theme card. I decided to make a Pop-Up Box card because I thought that particular design would allow me to create a sort-of bowling alley. I think I pulled it off.

In this picture, look at the bowling ball, I used a piece of cardstock from the DCWV Metallic Glitter Cardstock Stack. The ball is shiny and glittery, just like a real bowling ball.

I put 13 on both sides because my daughter's friend is turning 13.

The back I kept simple and to be perfectly honest I was running out of time. I would have liked to put another bowling pin and ball back there but I just didn't have enough time.

I used these items to create my Let the Good Times Roll Pop-Up Box card:
  • Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge (1st time I used it) - bowling pins and ball
  • Alphalicious Cricut cartridge - "Lucky"
  • Designer Calendar Cricut cartridge - 13
  • CardzTV "Good Times" clear stamp set - sentiments
  • DCWV Metallic Glitter Cardstock Stack - bowling ball

It was a little rushed and last minute but I got it done and I love it. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Let the Good Times Roll Pop-Up Box card.

Mini Chocolate Bunny Baskets

Today I bring to you these cute Mini Chocolate Bunny Baskets that I made for my daughters and my mom for Easter. I finally broke into my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 Cricut cartridge. I found a very helpful video on pinterest that showed me how to use this cartridge. If you have this cartridge and are hesitant to use it because of not understanding how to use it, don't be. First, you definitely NEED the score blade to use this cartridge. Second, find a how-to video on the internet and learn the useful tips they have to offer. Last, now that you everything you need to use this cartridge jump in and have fun!

Here is a closer look of just one of the baskets:

I used these items to create my 3 Mini Chocolate Bunny Baskets:
  • Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 Cricut cartridge - basket cut @ 5 1/4 inches
  • Easter 2010 - egg cut @ 2 1/2 inches and bunny cut @ 2 1/4 inches
  • Glossy accents - bunny
