So you might think this is just a St. Patrick's Day card...well you're wrong! This is actually a birthday card for a sweet little girl who is turning 1 on St. Patrick's Day! Earlier in the year when I first saw this Cricut cartridge I just knew I had to have it and I got it as apart of my Valentine gifts...YAY ME!!! I just love all the Sesame Street characters and so does my 2 year old daughter. I know I will get many uses from this cartridge and this is just the beginning.
I used these items to create this card:
- Design Studio
- Elmo & Friends Holiday Cricut cartridge - Elmo
- Life's a Party Cricut cartridge - "Happy Birthday"
- Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge - 1st
- Martha Stewart flocking powder (ladybug) - Elmo
- brads
- "celebrate" wooden stamp (Michael's $1.00 bin)
- ric rac
- foam squares - just to pop up Elmo
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
I had some challenges with this card but all in all I am pleased with it. I know the little girl who is turning 1 will never know what challenges I had. It was a fun card to make and who can resist Elmo! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my St. Patrick's Day - 1st Birthday Elmo card!

Cute card Carol, I think that Elmo holding a shamrock is a great idea for a St Patrick Day birthday. I also agree that 1 is a big birthday even though the little ones never remember them (that's what scrapbooks are for).
