Happy Halloween 3-D Witches Hat Decor

Halloween is my favorite holiday, unfortunately my creative juices just haven't been flowing. Lots of family and health stuff weighing heavy on me. I did muster up some juice with my 3 year old daughter to create this 3-D Witches Hat Décor.

I used  the leftover half of the paper mache hat from last years Witches Wreath. First we painted it with Neon Green craft paint and before it dried we sprinkled on some Martha Stewart Peridot Glitter. I then adhered the webbed ribbon around the hat and then hot glued the feathers and green spider. I also adhered some black tulle to the bottom of the hat. Finally I found the perfect Halloween paper to be the background for my hat and attached the hat to it. Lastly I just popped it in a shadow box display but without the glass and tada!

Here is a view from the side:

I am very happy with the way it turned out and my daughter was super excited that we made it her favorite color...green!

Plus, it looks good with the green I already have in my kitchen.

Im Melting

Today I bring to a card I had to make twice...unfortunately while my 1st one was drying with the glossy accent my mom placed something on of it not realizing it was even there...it was ruined!  I freaked out needless to say.  So this is my 2nd card.

I was inspired to create this card based on the challenge over at Haunted Design House - Macabre Monday - HDH #151 - I'm Melting.  I, of course, had to turn to my favorite witch of all time from my favorite movie of all time...The Wicked Witch of the East from The Wizard of Oz.

I used these items to create this card:
  • The Wizard of Oz Paper Pad
  • Black cardstock
  • Martha Stewart goo edge Punch
  • Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge - Font
  • Glossy Accent - on the goo, the font and the bottom of the witch
  • Misc. clear Halloween stamp

Fall Witches Hat Table Centerpiece

Tonight I bring to you a little Fall Witches Hat Table Centerpiece.  I had this idea for some time now.  I bought 2 paper mache witches hats from Michael's after Halloween last year on clearance and am now getting around to decorating them.

Above is what I think is the front (you might think it is the back).

Here you have one of the side views:

Here is the back (you might think it is the front).

Candy Witch card

I know, I know, a Halloween card?  Yes, a Halloween card!  If I haven't said it before I'll say it now, Halloween is my favorite holiday!!!  I love making cards, crafts, decorations, absolutely anything for Halloween.  I believe this is my 2nd card already this year for Halloween.  I was inspired by the challenge over at Dilly Beans.

I used these items to create this card:
  • Dilly Beans digital stamp
  • Sharpie markers
  • Stickles
  • Martha Stewart punch
  • misc. Halloween stickers
  • Glossy Accents - on all the candy parts and the "inside" parts of the easel card
  • silver star brad
Here is a close up of all the stickling  and glossy accent:
