Steampunk Junk Hat and Bracelet

Finally, I am getting a chance to get this out. I have been trying to finish this project all week and now I can say it is done. Haunted Design House has a Steampunk Junk challenge going on. To be honest I originally was not going to do this challenge because I am not familiar with Steampunk, but that made it all the more interesting for me to try this challenge.

So I had all of these items on hand and they were just waiting to be made into something:

I used these items to create my Steampunk Junk Hat and Bracelette:

large coffee can
lid from ice cream bucket
outside case to the First Aid waterproof adhesive tape
Antique Gold spray paint
Brown spray paint
white lace (that I stained with coffee and tea)
metal keys (Michael's)
metal buttons (I had in my stash)
paper flower (Michael's)
black velvet ribbon
metal bits (Michael's)
brads

Be My "Bloody" Valentine Candy Box

I am super excited to share with you today my Be My "Bloody" Valentine Candy Box with a little surprise inside. This is for sure not your traditional box of chocolates for a traditional Valentine. Since my favorite show, "The Walking Dead" comes back on tonight I just had to pay tribute to it. So I created a triangle candy box, decorated it with a Valentine flare and some "blood splatter." Then I hit the kitchen and made some candy coated Oreo brains for the surprise inside.

I used these items to create the Candy Box (ALL of which have been in my stash for quite some time):

Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridge - triangle candy box cut at 9 1/4
Cake Basics Cricut cartridge - heart cut at 9 1 /2
Wild Card Cricut cartridge - Be my Valentine

red craft paint - "blood splatter"

Bucket o' Love

I give you Bucket o' Love. I made only 2 of these: one for my hubby and one for my mom. I was down for 2 days earlier in the week, just simply tired, I think because of my chemo treatments. Now I'm a couple days behind in Valentine cards and gifts, so I am playing catch up.

Looking through the Window - Mother's Day card

Today I bring to you a Mother's Day card I created for my mother-in-law. During the end of December my mother-in-law had made this statement on her facebook page, "So strange!!! I was looking out my kitchen window this morning thinking about Joe (her deceased husband) when this yellow butterfly flew on my deck and hoovered in front of the window a little while then flew away...Maybe it was telling me that I will be okay and next year will be a better one for me!!!!! I hope so anyway...." Now this might not sound strange to some of you but since she lives on the east coast, seeing a butterfly in December is very strange. Ever since that day I knew I wanted to create a window card for her...and this is what I came up with.

I'm Yours - Goth Girl

I am so excited to be sharing this most recent card of mine! I am very new to digital stamps and last year I won a challenge and the prize was a couple of digital stamps. I have to say I didn't know what to do with them. After viewing a lot of creations from many talented bloggers, I think I now know what to do with them.
