I can't believe it, Easter is just a little over a week away. I didn't even have time to decorate because the holiday is so early this year and my Mom spent some time in the hospital earlier this month...plus, my oldest daughter turned 13 on the 7th. Then on St. Patrick's Day I had to take my youngest daughter to the ER to get 4 stitches under her eyebrow because she tripped in the grocery store parking lot and face planted onto the back of a shopping cart. So needless to say I didn't get to do the fun stuff I normally do for Easter. I did though just finish an Easter card that I have been wanting do for a very long time. I hope you enjoy it.
I used these items to create my He is Risen Easter Card:
- Inspired Heart Cricut Lite cartridge - title and die cut
- Stickles
- purple ribbon
- foam squares - behind image
- Craftin Desert Divas - Craft it up Link it up - Easter Linky
- My Sheri Crafts - Challenge #153 - Easter card featuring either a cross, bunnies or eggs
- DL ART - Thankful Thursday #153 - Easter
- Cardz TV - Challenge #6 - Easter Card
Beautiful card! I am so glad you could link up at Craftin desert Divas!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so striking! The word art is perfect with the image - a promise fulfilled!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about the month you've had and hope that everybody is well on the road to recovery.
Thank you so much for the comments you left on my blog (baby sympathy card). I agonized over what to create and truly appreciate the time you took to reassure me that the card is suitable and appropriate - and to give advice for the months and years to come. I'm so sorry that you know from the experience of losing your own precious son. xox
I think your Easter card is perfect -- the BG paper and colors you've used perfectly capture the wondrous aura of Easter morning in your sentiment! Thanks so much for sharing it with us @ My Sheri Crafts!!!
