Spider Necklace - HDH #138 - Eerie Elegnace

I bought this spider pendant from Michael's a couple of weeks ago and had no idea what I was going to do with it.  I was toying with some ideas like a necklace, a hair pin and even a decorative piece on a card or layout.  After playing around with some things, I ended up in my 10 year old daughter's jewerly making supplies and made this necklace.  I really am so satisfied how this necklace turned out.  Simple, eerie and elegant...everything that the darkside of me strives to be.

Here's a look at the necklace on me:
I'm not sure if you can get a feel for the size of this pendant but I would say it is very close to the size of a silver dollar.  It has nice weight about it and will make a great addition to my Halloween collection of jewelry.

I will be entering this necklace in the Haunted Design House - Macabre Monday - HDH #138 - Eerie Elegance Challenge - You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece that depicts elegance in it's most strangest of forms. You know the style we're talking about. That strange and bizarre, yet captivating and intriguing bit of oddness. Classy, but not really fit for human consumption.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my Spider Necklace.
