Well it has been quite some time since my last post...November 2013. This past year was very stressful and this year has begun as it ended...stressful. The holidays are always stressful for most of us but because of personally reasons it was even more stressful this past year. Being under that kind of stress, creativity does not flow so freely for me. But I came across this unfinished wooden snowman that I have had for many years, got out the paints and paint brushes with my youngest daughter and he is now no longer unfinished. Just behind Fall, Winter is my second favorite season and I absolutely love snowmen. Living in sunny Arizona makes me miss the cold snowy Winter of New Jersey so I try to surround myself with some comforts of the wonderful winters from my childhood. Once the Christmas decorations come down the Winter ones go up, at least for a couple of weeks, just before Valentine's.
I used the items:
- Provo Craft unfinished wooden snowman stand
- craft paint
- iridescent snowflake sequins
- iridescent sequins
- black buttons
- Let It Snow wooden add-on
- super glue

Thank you so much. I didn't realize it came from Provo Craft until I looked at the project ideas that were included in the packaging. I bought it many years ago at Micheal's on clearance along with a wooden Christmas tree.
